The Commuting Students’ Committee, Office of Students Services will host a barbecue on March 3 on the lawns of the Commuting Students’ Lounge between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
The barbeque will serve as a fundraising activity organised by the staff of the Commuting Students’ Lounge to support developmental projects and activities to be undertaken by the Commuting Students’ Outreach Club which will be launch on March 18. One outreach activity being planned is assistance to the Hope Institute, a residential care facility for cancer patients. Students are encouraged to support this venture and to join the club as it has scope for inclusion on their co-curricular transcripts.
