The Annual General Meeting of the Geological Society of Jamaica will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at the Interfaculty Lecture Theatre, UWI, Mona, beginning at 9:00 a.m. At this meeting, annual reports for 2003 will be presented and a new Council will be elected. The special guest speaker for this event will be Dr. Margaret Wiggins-Grandison, Research Fellow, Earthquake Unit at UWI. The title of her presentation will be "Advances in Jamaican Seismology."
