The Latin American - Caribbean Centre, UWI, Mona, in collaboration with the Embassy of Colombia in Jamaica is inviting members of the Campus community and the public to the second presentation in its Colombian Film Cycle. The film is titled La Gente De La Universal and is directed by Felipe Aljure. The screening takes place on Thursday, January 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the Neville Hall Lecture Theatre (N1), Faculty of Humanities and Education. Admission is free and the film is in Spanish. La Gente De La Universal depicts the brutal struggle for survival in the city and is recommended for adults only.
