The University of the West Indies will be hosting a Seminar for Principals and Guidance Counsellors of Secondary Schools on Thursday, February 22 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The seminar is being held under the theme “Helping your Students Optimise the UWI Experience” and has been organised by the Office of Student Financing at Mona. There will be presentations by the Minister of Education, the Hon. Maxine Henry Wilson and Executive Director of the Students Loan Bureau, Mrs. Lenice Barnett. Topics to be discussed include the UWI Scholarship Examinations and the Financial Reality of the UWI Experience. The seminar will be held in the Assembly Hall, UWI Mona.
