On Thursday March 18 2004, the Mona Association of Postgraduate Students (MAPS) in association with the Counselling Unit of the University Health Centre will host a session titled "Tips for Graduate Success". The session is aimed at helping graduate students cope with the pressures of postgraduate studies as well as well as helping students dealing with the stresses of graduate research.
Counsellor from the Health Centre Counselling Unit, Dr Peter Weller will be on hand to offer his expertise in the area. Also on hand will be a panel of students and academic supervisors. The venue for the session will be the New Education Lecture Theatre (NELT) in the Faculty of Humanities and Education.
The session is scheduled to begin at 3 pm and will run until 5:00 p.m.
