Jamaica Flour Mills Foundation Scholarships

Applications are invited for Scholarships to be offered by the Jamaica Flour Mills Foundation to pursue full-time courses of study at the University of the West Indies (UWI), University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech), and Northern Caribbean University (NCU). Persons applying for assistance to pursue undergraduate studies should have a least three (3) A’ Level subjects with at least “B” average, or three 2-unit CAPE courses at grades 1 or 11. Students enrolled in diploma or degree programmes should have an average of at least grade B in their examinations. Graduate students should have a first degree at the First Class or Upper Second Class level. Candidates should be between the ages of 17 and 35 years and should be Jamaican citizens. Successful candidates will be required to work in Jamaica for two years for each year of the scholarship, upon completion of study. Children and/or dependents of persons employed at Jamaica Flour Mills may not apply. Application forms are available at the Registry, UWI Mona, the Scholarship Coordinator at UTech, the Tertiary Unit, Ministry of Education, from the Montego Bay Community College and from Manchester High School.
