The Social History Project: Celebrating 25 Years
The Department of History and Archaeology has mounted an exhibition in the Catalogue Hall of the Main Library, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of its Social History Project (the SHP). The exhibition, under the theme, The Social History Project: Celebrating 25 Years, highlights the work of the SHP over the years, and outlines its current programme. It also features Dr. Joy Lumsden’s research on the Jamaican black middle class of the late 19th and early 20th century. The exhibition runs from April 2 to April 30. Members of the University community are invited to visit and make their comments in the visitors’ book provided.
