The Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts will host a number of events for the month of April. These include a Distinguished Public Lecture by Professor Michael Dash of New York University, USA. The lecture, which is being held in conjunction with UNESCO, is titled, “Two Hundred Years of Solitude: Haiti Then and Now”. The event will be held on Thursday, April 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Centre. The Centre is also hosting an exhibition of the UWI Camera Club which will run until April 23. The exhibition is being held under the theme “Borne by Light.” The public is being invited to attend these activities.
