Word Time Ministries of Jamaica, a non-profit voluntary youth organization is seeking volunteers from UWI to tutor the boys and girls at the Jamaica Christian Boys’ Home (7 Oxford Road, New Kingston) and the Musgrave Girls’ Home (Lady Musgrave Road).
The specific areas for tutoring are English, Mathematics and Computing. However students are welcomed to tutor any other area in which the children may need help. Volunteers may tutor at times convenient to them. An introductory ceremony will be held for the volunteers to become acquainted with the children of the homes.
