2005-2007 Fulbright/LASPAU Faculty Development Program
The Office of Public Affairs at the US Embassy is inviting applications for the 2005-2007 Fulbright/LASPAU (Latin American Scholarship Program of American Universities) Faculty Development Program. The scholarships are open to full-time lecturers at tertiary level institutions in Jamaica who want to undertake Master's or Doctoral level study at U.S. universities beginning in August of next year.
Interested persons can download the application forms from the website: http://www.laspau.harvard.edu/fbapp/. They will need to use the following username and password to access the site: username: fbapp; password: education. Applicants should carefully follow the instructions provided at the web address. Applications must be completed online and must be submitted electronically no later than Friday, April 30, 2004.
The online application will allow officials at the Office of Public Affairs of the U.S. Embassy, the U.S. Department of State and the LASPAU office in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to view the applicant’s records the day they are submitted and to communicate electronically with those who have applied. Once a would-be scholarship holder has submitted his or her application, s/he can return to the website to check the status of the application and verify that the LASPAU Office has received any supplemental documents that s/he might have sent.
