The Eli and Edythe L. Broad Foundation is interested in funding basic or clinical inflammatory bowel disease ( IBD) research projects that are innovative; are in the early stages of exploration; will improve diagnosis, therapy or prevention of IBD in the near future; and are not ready for funding by more traditional granting agencies. Grants will be awarded to not-for-profit institutions worldwide, such as universities, hospitals and research institutes. Requests for funding must be preceded by a brief Letter of Interest (up to three pages, not including attachments). There are no deadlines for receipt of Letters of Interest.
