Congratulations to the students from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, who have been selected as members of Jamaica’s National Senior Volleyball Team. They are scheduled to participate in the 10th Caribbean Volleyball Championships scheduled for June 25 – July 4, 2004 in Barbados. After several weeks of intense training, the women were chosen from a squad of 18 players, while the men were selected from a squad of 21. The Team which consists of twenty (24) players, includes the following UWI students: Cherine Richards, Kamille Dwyer, Shanique Green, Andre’ McLean, Ricardo Chong, Richard Reynolds, Mark Lewis, Neil Williams, Delford Morgan. The UWI community wishes them all the best at the Championships.
