Geology Museum Summer Science Camp
The Geology Museum, Department of Geography and Geology, UWI Mona, will be hosting its Summer Science Camp for 9 - 12 year olds from July 5 to July 16, 2004, at the Geology Museum. The camp is designed to expose children to various concepts in earth science such as minerals and gems, rocks and ore, fossil shells, tracks and bones, volcanoes and earthquakes, archaeology, maps, and satellite images. The camp will be held Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost for the camp is $5,000. Registration forms are available from the Museum and completed forms with payment must be submitted to Mrs. Nadene Marshall, Department of Geography and Geology.
