The International Development Research Centre in collaboration with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research has issued a call for applications in Global Community of Practice in Ecosystem Approaches to Human Health. Researchers from Canada and Latin America and the Caribbean are asked to jointly develop and submit proposals that contribute to the consolidation and expansion of a Global Community of Practice in Ecohealth in Latin American and the Caribbean. The aim of this community of practice is to advance the ecosystem approaches to human health research framework and to link research to policy and action. This collaboration will strengthen cooperation between scientists in Canada and the Latin American and Caribbean region, and assist with the development of research networks to stimulate critical thinking and capacity building within research institutions related to ecosystem approaches to human health.
