Facilities Management Unit collaborates with MITS to offer Online Services

The Facilities Management Unit’s (FMU) web application is a reporting tool which will allow residing students to log complaints and request services in their Halls of residence. The development of this web application was a joint venture between the Facilities Management Unit and MITS.

FMUThis web Application will allow for increased communication between students and the services management office in respective halls. It will also aid the Facilities Management Unit to increase the management of university housing facilities.

How do I get access?

To navigate to the FMU online application, click on the link posted on the University homepage, the My-Mona homepage or enter the following URL in your browser: http://appls-bch-07:8080/fmu/login.

To login to the web application, enter your ID number and Domain password in the fields provided.

Who is it for?

The web application allows for two types of users:

  • All registered students
  • Authorized staff members

What are the features/benefits of this application?

  • Secured web application for capturing service requests and complaints from students.
  • Allows for greater communication regarding service requests between students and their respective services administrators.
  • From the comfort of the office, service administrators can receive, action, and update logged complaints. Students can also monitor job status from their user page or email.
  • The ability to log requests outside of office hours.
  • The ability to generate reports and real time statistical information.
