The Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM) in collaboration with the Jamaica Institute of Financial Services (JIFS) presented an intensive three day seminar on April 24-26 2013 to sharpen the skills of leaders in the financial services sector. The seminar was held at the Regional Headquarters for the University of the West Indies, (UWI) and Morgan’s Harbour Hotel & Marina
and introduced tools and techniques to navigate the new era of global pressures and increasing competition. Participants benefited from pre-workshop readings, interactive presentations and discussions, case analysis, role-play simulations and critical thinking exercises.
Course Facilitators represented a diverse and experienced team of top faculty who bridge theory with practice across Strategy, IT Governance, Leadership Operations, Supply Chain Management and other disciplines. This distinguished resource team consisted of the many accomplished leaders within the Business Schools of the Mona, Cave Hill and St Augustine Campuses of The UWI.
