Dr.Lila Rao-Graham named Senior Lecturer

MSBM extends heartiest congratulations to Dr. Lila Rao-Graham on her appointment as Senior Lecturer. The appointment became effective in August 2014.


Dr. Rao - Graham is the Deputy Executive Director at MSBM, Director of the E/MBA programmes and a Lecturer in Information Systems. She currently does research in various areas including: Data Warehousing and Mining, Data, Information and Knowledge Quality, Decision Support Systems and Technology Adoption. She has a strong interest in addressing some of the issues related to improving the quality of information systems .


 In February 2013 Dr. Rao-Graham was recognised for her contribution to academic research at the UWI Annual Research Days, winning the award for Best Research Publication alongside Dr. Gunjan Mansingh for  their  article – “Building ontology based knowledge maps to assist business process re-engineering, in Decision Support Systems.”


She is also co-editor of the book Knowledge Management for Development: Domains, Strategies and Technologies for Developing Countries  which was launched in February 2014. A  pivotal compilation which analyses the challenges faced by developing nations in developing, sharing, and effectively using organisational knowledge, as they contend with the international Knowledge Economy, the book presents the perspective of developing countries on Knowledge Management with papers from Asia, Africa, and Latin America & the Caribbean.
