UWI crushed Browns Town in Intercol T20

In what was their second T20 game of the 2013 Intercollegiate Season, the UWI are sending a clear signal that they are in it to win it. Having defeated Moneague College earlier, the UWI Pelican cricket team crushed Browns Towns at home over the weekend to win the game by 120 runs.

The home team captain by former National Representative Paul Palmer, the 2012 Junior Cup champions, having won the toss and elected to bat first set a target of 203 runs for the loss of 5 wickets at the end of 20 overs. Browns Town were then sent in to chase but could not face the attack of the UWI fast pace and spin bowling who stifled them to a paltry 83 runs for the loss of five wickets at the end of their innings.

The UWI will next face Knox College on the 15th of February at Comfort Community College Cricket Grounds.
