Course
Description  |
This course focuses on advanced techniques for use in the
design, planning, and control of operating systems in the
manufacturing and service sector. The course is designed to
complement and build on topics covered in MS29P, Introduction to Production & Operation Management. A more advanced
treatment is provided for decision models which are used in
production planning, inventory control, scheduling, facility
design and location. Case examples are drawn from operating
systems in manufacturing, service and public sector organizations.
