Patricia Prescott, PhD is a certified cognitive therapist. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology and her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of West Indies. Dr. Prescott also read for a Masters in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice which is a college among the City University of New York system.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Prescott serves the University community on a part-time basis as a psychologist at the Counselling Service. Dr. Prescott is a certified diplomat of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and is currently the only psychologist in the English speaking Caribbean Community that has achieved this level of certification in cognitive behavioral therapy.
