| Attendance at seminars is a requirement. Please note Examination Regulation 23:
Any candidate who has been absent from the University for a prolonged period during the teaching of a particular course for any reason other than illness or whose attendance at prescribed lectures, classes, practical classes, tutorials or clinical instructions has been unsatisfactory or who has failed to submit essays or other exercises set by his teachers may be debarred by the relevant Academic Board, on the recommendation of the relevant Faculty Board, from taking any University examinations.
An attendance record is kept by your tutor; you should therefore ensure that your attendance is correctly recorded each week.
Any student who arrives at class after 10 minutes (after class has started) will be marked ABSENT.
No teaching is done on Public Holidays observed by the University. If you should miss your regular class for this (or any other) reason, please visit another class (preferably one taught by your regular tutor). Please secure a signed visitor's slip as proof of such a visit.
Please Note Carefully: ALL CELL PHONES MUST BE TURNED OFF while classes are in session.
