Ovarıan Granulosa Cell Tumors: Evaluatıon of Clınıcal, Outcome and Reccurence Factors

DOI:
10.7727/wimj.2015.354
Synopsis:
The aim of the study was to determine the predictors for poor prognosis and to find out the effect of treatment strategies on survival functions in 37 cases of granulosa cell tumor diagnosis. Tumor differentiation is found to be a significant confounder for the disease recurrence after adjustment for the stage.

ABSTRACT

Objective: We aimed to determine the predictors for poor prognosis and to find out the effect of treatment strategies on survival functions

Methods: Thirty seven women with granulosa cell tumor were enrolled for the study between 2000 and 2013. All data was obtained from hospital prospectively collected databese.

Rhinolith is an uncommon nasal mass and a rare entity encountered in clinical practice. The typical
symptoms of rhinolith are unilateral nasal obstruction, foul smelling purulent nasal discharge and
epistaxis, crusting, swelling of nose or face, anosmia, epiphora and headache. In this report, we present
a case of recurrent rhinolith manifesting as an incidental finding on dental radiographs. A 26-year old
male patient with a history of long standing halitosis had an operation for rhinolith seven years
