CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Authors are invited to submit abstracts for the conference. Deadline for submission of abstracts - February 28, 2017 INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS
Guidelines for Abstracts:
Submit one copy of the abstract consisting of 300-350 words on one page and written in the following order:
Title of Study : Use bold type. Do not use abbreviations.
Authors: Begin on a new line, 2 spaces below the title. Use italics, first initials followed by surnames, (do not use full stops after initials) no titles or addresses. Underline presenting author's name if more than one author.
Aims or Objectives: State the main aim/objective of the study.
Methods: Briefly describe study design; indicate sample size and sampling techniques, data collection procedures, and duration of the study data analysis techniques).
Results: Summarize the main findings.
Conclusions: Should be supported by the results and include implications for health care.
Key words: List 5-7 words that give the gist of the study.
Guidelines for Preparing Posters:
I . Poster Size
Width = 120 cm; Height = 85 cm
II. Border
There should be a border of at least 5 cm all around the poster.
III. Poster Number
Place your poster number at the top left hand corner of the poster.
IV. Title, Authors and Institutions
This information should be placed on the top part of the poster.
V. Abstract
The Abstract should be placed below the Poster Number on the left hand side.
VI. Introduction, Aims/Objectives, Methods & Results, Tables & Figures, etc.
This will occupy the body of the poster.
VII. Conclusions
This should be placed in the bottom right hand corner of the poster.
