The Inaugural Mona Debates
The University of the West Indies, Office of the Principal, in conjunction with the Indian High Commission will be hosting the inaugural " Mona Debates" on Thursday, April 14 at 6:30 pm in the Faculty of Law , Lecture Room 2 . In recognition of UWI's partnership with the Indian High Commission, the moot is “Marginalized Jamaicans have Benefited from Independence”, a topic which was chosen to reflect and celebrate the 125th Birth Anniversary of the life of Dr. B R Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, an Indian legal and economic luminary who was born in extremely humble circumstances, but managed to become the first Law Minister and the drafter of that country’s constitution.

Songs of Joy and Inspiration - Mona Campus Male Chorus
You are invited you to Mona Campus Male Chorus' debut concert entitled "Songs of Joy and Inspiration".
Scheduled for Sunday April 17, 2016, at The University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona campus Chapel, the show gets underway at 5:30 p.m. It will feature a wide cross-section of musical genres, including Classical, Spirituals, Gospel and Popular Songs.

Annual Faculty Awards Ceremony
The Faculty of Science and Technology will be hosting its Annual Faculty Awards Ceremony on March 24, 2016 at 4:00pm in the Assembly Hall. The theme for the Ceremony is 'Honouring Outstanding Achievers' where postgraduate students and undergraduates students who made the Dean's Honor Roll, graduated with First Class Honours and those who Commendations will be awarded; as well as staff members who have excelled in their field for the 2014-2015 academic year.
