The National Business Model Competition (NBMC)
Students from the University of the West Indies (UWI), the University of Technology (UTech) and the Northern Caribbean University (NCU), will begin competing March 23 to 25.
The winner of the NBMC will start preparation for the International Business Model Competition which will be held in Utah on May 1 to 2, and will compete against a number of teams including top Ivy League universities Stanford and Harvard.
Teaching Caribbean Poetry, Teaching the World.
The School of Education will be hosting an Evening of Poetry Reading which will feature some of the Caribbean’s best poets, including our Poet Laureate, Mervyn Morris. The evening will also feature Edward Baugh, Mark McWatt, Philip Nanton, Velma Pollard and Tanya Shirley.
