Opening Ceremony


The opening ceremony sets the tone for the conference. This will be done in four major sections:

  • Towards Caribbean Labour and Employment Policies: Overview of Determinants and Challenges

  • Historical Antecedents Influencing Behaviour and Power Relationships at the Caribbean Workplace

  • Economic and Social Challenges and Labour Policy Implications for CARICOM
    Pro Vice Chancellor & Principal, Professor Kenneth Hall
  • International issues and Perspectives for Labour and Employment Relations and Implications for Labour Policies in the New Caribbean Economy
    Keynote Speaker,  Professor Thomas Kochan
