THEME: Mathematics Education in Jamaica: Conquering Frontiers, Providing Solutions"Jamaica Teachers Association (JTA) is holding its annual education conference from April 10 - 12, 2012 at the Rose Hall Resort & Spa, Montego Bay, St. James.Objectives

  1. To accurately inform participants of the status of student performance in mathematics
  2. To appreciate the relationship between student performance and instructional approaches
  3. To equip tachers with innovative and effective approaches in the delivery of mathematical instructions
  4. To empower teachers with strategies that will motivate students and develop in them a love for mathematics

Through this conference, the JTA is providing an opportunity for teachers to engage in practical, interactive sessions that will inform, stimulate and equip them to return to the classroom empowered to conquer new frontiers in the teaching of mathematics.Click here for more information information.
