Welcome to the inaugural Partners for Educational Progress CoP EduExchange! The online discussion forum will start Tuesday, September 21, 2010, and will address the role of the school in improving student performance in challenging contexts. Elaine Foster Allen, Immediate Past Chief Inspector of Education and Principal Shortwood Teachers' College, will moderate the three-day discussion, which covers the following topics: Raising teacher expectations of children in high poverty schools, curriculum support for under-performing children and engaging with families in difficult circumstances
