Syllabus

  • Geological maps, their construction and interpretation
  • geological expression of structural styles and terrane histories
  • cross-section construction
  • application of subsurface data in the preparation of structural contours.
    Principles of field mapping, measurement of stratigraphic sections, preparation
    of a geologic map.
  • One week of field work in the vacation preceding Semester
    2 Basis of metamorphic petrology;

Laboratory course of 36 hours.

 
 

Evaluation
Course work 60%
Field Work 40%
