UWI Museum CAMEO Exhibition
Sir Shridath ‘Sonny’ Ramphal was UWI’s fourth Chancellor, serving from 1989-2003. Currently, Sir Shridath is doing a series of Caribbean launches for a book on his ‘Global Life’ and the UWI Museum is taking the opportunity to host a brief cameo focus on his life and work; alongside our semi-permanent exhibition on the Origins of the UWI.
UWI’s Fourth Chancellor will run from Wednesday December 3 through Friday December 7, during our regular opening hours, 10a.m. – 4p.m.All are welcome.

AD Scott memorial exhibition
The UWI Museum will be remembering the life and work of AD Scott, engineer, builder, art patron and artist through an exhibition of pieces from the UWI’s AD Scott Collection, starting Monday, June 16 – the 10th anniversary of his death. The exhibition will run for one month.

You are invited to view "The IGDS at 20" - An exhibition exploring the contribution of the Institute of Gender & Development Studies to the understanding of gender. The exhibit marks the 20th anniversary of the IGDS.

CARIMAC Open Week 2014
CARIMAC Open Week is an annual event held towards the end of Semester II at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. The event is hosted by CARIMAC and showcases the work of the faculty and students of the Institute.
Each year, final year students present their work to various special interest groups; industry representatives, prospective employers, future students of media and communication among others. The event is open to members of the university community and the public. This year’s CARIMAC Open Week occurs April 28 to May 1.

'The Mexican Suns' - An exhibition of Mexican folk art
FOR A FEW DAYS ONLY, the UWI MUSEUM will present: 'The Mexican Suns' - An exhibition of Mexican folk art on the theme of the sun, in honour of the centenary of Octavio Paz, Poet & Nobel Laureate. The Exhibition will be open to the public April 25 – May 2.
PLEASE NOTE that the museum will be closed to the public April 23 – 24 to facilitate the hanging of the exhibition.
