Improving the [Re]integration of Jamaican Ex-Prisoners
The second seminar in the 2016 SALISES Series explores the micro and macro level social factors that bear upon the effective reintegration of Jamaican ex-prisoners returning to Jamaican society.
Dacia Leslie will question the Jamaican state’s capacity to meet the needs of adult inmates and a large number of its citizens subject to forced repatriation to their homeland by overseas jurisdictions.

The Role of ECLAC in the Caribbean
Dr Dillon Alleyne is a Visiting Senior Fellow at SALISES, University of the West Indies, Mona Campus and Deputy Director of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) sub regional Headquarters for the Caribbean. He will present on "The Role of ECLAC in the Caribbean" at this year's first SALISES Staff Seminar.
