My approach to teaching includes a combination of theoretical and practical components. It is necessary for my classes to incorporate both, as the theory provides the foundational knowledge that is necessary for students to understand the concepts; and the practice brings it all to life through case studies and actual organizational research.

Additionally, I consider my position as lecturer to be that of a learning facilitator, a role which allows me to guide the learning process and classroom exchange with students rather than dominating it. This is based on my acknowledgement of the contribution that students also bring to the teaching and learning table through their own experiences, prior knowledge and thoughts.

My research interests include organisational change issues, human resource management and digital transformation in higher education.
