A person gets influenza by:
  • Breathing in the virus when an infected person coughs or sneezes
  • Contact with objects that have been recently touched by an infected person. eg. Door knobs, telephones.

 

INFLUENZA A (H1N1):
  • Fever
  • headache
  • Cough
  • Sore Throat
  • Joint pains/Muscle aches
  • Runny & Stuffy nose

 

SEVERE SYMPTOMS INCLUDE:
  • Vomiting
  • Difficulty breatning
  • Chest pains
