Knowing the Symptoms of Influenza A (H1N1)

Symptoms

The symptoms of the H1N1 flu are similar to the symptoms of the seasonal influenza:
  • Fever (a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or 37.8 degrees Celsius or greater)
  • Lethargy
  • Lack of appetite
  • Coughing
  • Pain in the eye
  • Nausea
  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
  • Sudden dizziness
  • Confusion
  • Severe or persistent vomiting
  • Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough
