Patricia Mohammed is Senior Lecturer at the Centre for
Gender and Development Studies, University of the West
Indies, St. Augustine. From 1994-2002 she was Head of
the Mona Unit, Centre for Gender and Development Studies,
in Jamaica.
She has been involved in both feminist activism and scholarship
for over two decades. Her academic publications include

In July 2002 she completed a two-year Mona Campus Research fellowship
with a manuscript entitled Imaging the Caribbean, which is to
be published in book format as well as documentary film.
