Jeanette Morris holds an M.A. from the University of Edinburgh,
an M. Sc. From Georgetown University, and an M.A. Ed.
and Ph. D. from the University of the West Indies. She
is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education, The University
of the West Indies, St. Augustine and has been Head of
the School for the past five years. She lectures in the
Teaching of Modern Languages and Qualitative Research
Methods.
She was a former coordinator of the Women and Development Studies
group at St. Augustine. Her research interests and publications
are in the areas of gender and education, foreign language education
and qualitative research methods.
