Tears fell from my eyes as I sat in bed
A million and one thoughts bombarded in my head
My room grew still by a gust of wind and I knew You've entered in.

You took me by the hand then looked at my face and said, “My child you've already won the race.”
“I heard your cry and I know what they say,
Have you forgotten that I'm not far away?”

Then the tears came flowing like a mighty sea cause I knew that He understood me.
“Don't forget on Calvary that I bled now my child arise off thy bed.”

I hesitated a bit not quite sure on what to do then He said, “Let go and allow me to lead you.”
I couldn't give Him my all All I thought about was how I would fall
He whispered in my ear “My child if there's nothing I can't do then why do you limit me to just a few?”

I stepped on His feet quite a few times He smiled as He didn't mind.
We glide across my room As I learn the steps, one, two, one, two
We laughed and we shared.

The music slowed and He held me close and said, “I'll never let you go.”
The thought of His presence around me each day made it so clear that
He is the Way.

I could tell by His smile and His touch that I'm free
free indeed because I let Him lead Glory be unto Him whose love is purer than gold Lover of my heart,
body and soul.
