Jody-Ann Reece – Research Manager

Jody-Ann holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of the West Indies and a Masters’ degree in Research Methods in Psychology from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.  While at the University of Manchester, she received training in advanced statistical analysis and research methodology and pursued research on language development in primary school aged children. She has worked as a researcher in both the private and public sectors in the areas of child development, marketing research and justice reform. Jody-Ann is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Policy at the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) at the University of the West Indies.

In addition to her educational qualifications, Jody-Ann has sound research experience in both academic and policy settings.   Currently, Jody-Ann serves as the Research Manager at JA KIDS. Her responsibilities include developing the overall research methodology, the data collection protocols and training of the data collection team at each contact point. She also manages the study’s database, which includes more than 20,000 participants.  Jody-Ann will lead the analyses of the cohort data.
