University Players - "RIOT ACT"
The University Players will mount the next production at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts, entitled RIOT ACT.
In RIOT ACT, a museum exhibition is the starting point of a journey through the space of Black Consciousness. The characters explore their own fears and issues while doing their best to escape the ghost of a dead revolutionary. The production takes a light-hearted and sometimes humorous look at uncomfortable topics like Reparations. This musical theatre production is a modern myth for our times and not to be missed.
The production runs for one weekend only, October 9 - 11. This musical is written and directed by Michael Holgate (Tutor/Co-ordinator at the Centre).
