Annual Mary Seacole Hall Lecture
The annual Mary Seacole Hall Lecture will take place on Thursday March 6 at the UWI Undercroft. The lecture will be delivered by Sen. Marlene Malahoo Forte under the theme "Women: Inspiring Change." Mary Seacole Hall week traditionally falls during the week of International Women's Day which is on March 8, annually. This year the women of the hall will engage in Outreach Activities at Mary's Child, Walker's Place of safety and Glenhope Children's Home on International Women's Day.

Telemedicine Presentation - Innovations in Sexual and Reproductive Health
The telemedicine presentation is a special ICT feature of the Principal's Research Days activities to demonstrate the use of innovative technology in the UWI. The presentation will showcase the new facilities of the Hugh Wynyer Fertility Management Unit including two "state of the art" operating rooms which, in the future will facilitate robotic assisted surgery. The live connectivity between the lecture theatre and operating theatres, demonstration of laparoscopic surgery, in-vitro fertilization (IVF), M.Sc. Counselling in distance Education and training in minimally access surgery, will be featured.
