17th Bob Marley Lecture - Institute of Caribbean Studies
The Institute of Caribbean Studies (ICS) and the Reggae Studies Unit will present the 17th Annual Bob Marley Lecture at the Undercroft, University of the West Indies, Mona Campus on 13 February 2014 at 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. DOWNLOAD EVENT FLYER HERE.
This year's lecture will be presented by Cindy Breakspeare and is titled Beauty and the Beast: A Bridge to the Natural Mystic. Cindy Breakspeare, mother of Damian "Junior Gong" Marley, will offer her perspective on Bob Marley's life and her association with him.
The lecture series is also part of the ICS' Reggae month celebrations and is open to the public at no charge. All are invited.
