The Annual Walter Rodney Lecture
The Institute of Caribbean Studies in association with the Department of Government present the 15th annual Walter Rodney Lecture. This year's lecture will be delivered by Dr Jermaine McCalpin and is entitled: "How Africa Developed Europe: Walter Rodney and the Moral Burden of Reparations".

Personal Finance seminars for WIPA members
The West Indies Players Association (WIPA) and the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona Campus have collaborated to provide two Personal Finance seminars for WIPA members who are on the rosters of the Limacol Caribbean Premier League (LCPL) franchises. The sessions will be facilitated by the Professional Services Unit of MSBM. The seminars will be delivered through two ninety (90) minute sessions on each of the mornings. Some of the topics to be covered include: The Financial Life Cycle; Strategies for Creating Financial Independence; Lifestyle Financial Planning
