International lecture: How to create a cancer centre of excellence in a tertiary care setting

The Department of Surgery, Radiology, Anaesthesia and Intensive Care welcomes International Guest Lecturer, Professor Andy Smith of the University of Toronto. Professor Smith's majorclinical and research interests are metastatic, locally recurrent andlocally advanced colorectal cancer and knowledge translation. In addition to his surgical practice he maintains an energetic leadership role promoting cancer quality improvment initiatives in Ontario.

Dr. Hall has received several national and private sector honours.

Insights for entrepreneurial success with Levi Roots: A Motivational Talk

Jamaican born, Levi Roots will share insights on his entrepreneurship journey with students. The motivational talk will be based on his book “You can get it if you really want", which chronicles his journey from Clarendon to UK. Levi Roots came to international prominence in 2006 after he participated in the BBC programme “Dragons Den”. His product, “Reggae Reggae Sauce” is now stocked by all of the major retailers and the Levi Roots Brand has been extended across a range of other products.
