What's Old will be New
The weeks go by so fast these days, that I hardly realised that tomorrow is Friday--Just yesterday, I was forcing myself to roll out of bed at some ungodly hour to get here, bright and early on a Monday Morning.
On Wednesday, I seemed to have forced myself out of bed a little too early, or perhaps, a bit too forcefully, as I regrettably smashed my right thumb with the car door. the pain was unbearable for the day, and I had no use of my right thumb what-so-ever, but being the lucky MITS intern that I am, I was saved by the First Aid Kit in the Mud Lab, where I attended to my own wounds while the ever friendly Miss Cherry, who tidies up in the morning, lent her motherly support.
In terms of work, this week, I must say is taking the Web team closer to having some closure on the UWI Website redesign that we've been slaving over for however long now.
Even though I've been working on a usability test for the past couple weeks, that we had hoped would steer the redesign of the website, to more of a realingment--today we realised that the material we had previously gathered [long before I started interning here] was just the right stuff.
So, what are we going to do? Well, resurect the old unfinished work of course! There is absolutely no reason why we can't use old info to forage new accomplishments, and hopefully, that is exactly what we will be doing.
Until next week, this time--my half dead [but healing] thumb and I are out!
