ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS OF THE UWI COMMUNITY

Affected Services:

  1. VPN Access: vpn.mona.uwi.edu is now fully operational.
  2. MonaConnect Wireless Internet: Normal connectivity has been restored.

Details:

The service disruption caused by the Digicel fiber break in the Liguanea area has been resolved. As a result:

  • VPN Access: The primary VPN connection (vpn.mona.uwi.edu) is now available, and users may resume normal connections.

    We strongly recommend that users configure their VPN client to utilize both VPN links for redundancy:

    1. vpn.mona.uwi.edu (via Digicel)
    2. vpn2.mona.uwi.edu (via FLOW)
  • MonaConnect Wireless Internet: Connectivity and speeds have returned to normal when accessing external websites.
