Service Restoration - Network Connectivity within Assembly Hall Area

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS OF THE UWI COMMUNITY
Affected Services:
LAN (Wired Network) and Wi-Fi Connectivity within the following areas: UWI Bookshop, Office of the Deputy Principal, Registry Information Systems, Graduate Studies, Faculty of Humanities, and Placement and Careers Services.
Incident Summary:
Earlier today, sections of the Assembly Hall experienced power outages which affected the network infrastructure. This resulted in a temporary loss of network connectivity in surrounding areas, primarily impacting the UWI Bookshop, Office of the Deputy Principal, Registry Information Systems, Graduate Studies, Faculty of Humanities, and Placement and Careers Services.
Resolution:
Power has since been restored, and all network services are now fully operational. Users should now have normal access to both local network resources (e.g., file sharing, printing, and internal systems) and internet-based services (e.g., email, web browsing, and VolP communications).
