The new Student eTimesheet System (SES) was developed in house at MITS in the Oracle PeopleSoft system. This system allows student workers to easily input their own eTimesheets and also allows managers/supervisors to approve these eTimesheets. This system automatically calculates the rates and amounts to be paid on each timesheet, increasing efficiency and mitigating the risk of human errors. These calculations also take into account overtime hours and warnings are declared if hours exceed a certain limit. It also has many additional features which help to streamline the timesheet process, such as, preventing overlapping dates and times and sending reminders for timesheets that are unapproved.
