This course establishes a biochemical foundation for the delivery of evidence-based nursing care to clients throughout the life-cycle and along the well-illness continuum. It assists learners to apply critical thinking in examining basic organic and biochemical processes specific to human nutrition. Additionally, the course explores international, regional and local frameworks for nutritional health.
