This clinical practicum focuses on the integration and application of evidence-based knowledge into real and simulated clinical circumstances. Emphasis is given to the application of microbiology and pathophysiology as well as the nursing process, nutrition and physical assessment skills to care for individuals and families along the wellness-illness continuum and across the life cycle. Students’ development and refinement of psychomotor and affective skills will be facilitated to ensure positive interpersonal relationship as they interact with patients and the health team.
