This course focuses on evidence-based practice in caring for individuals and families across the life-cycle who face sudden, unexpected, or acute and life threatening health-related events. These events include those requiring specialized nursing interventions. Critical thinking processes are engaged in applying of the nursing process to solving common and recurrent problems associated with sensory and motor functions. Additionally, it integrates ethical/legal frameworks into the context of specialized nursing care.
